Hello
I'm Tracey Rogers. You are probably here because you know me as a Bible Teacher, but to others I am known as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Perhaps you know my voice and my teaching, but if you would like to know a little of my story then you have come to the right place.
Tracey's Story
Tracey Rogers is a gifted Bible teacher who brings passion and enthusiasm to the life-giving Word of God. Tracey speaks with authority and authenticity leaving her listeners wanting to spend more time with God in His Word and inspiring them to live lives that shine His light. You can hear Tracey’s passionate teaching in her podcast, You Didn’t’ Ask.
Tracey Rogers first began teaching the Word of God to a group of senior adult women. Although this appeared an unlikely pairing due to the age difference, it was a perfect match made by God. During the 5 years Tracey spent with them they became not just friends, but so influential to Tracey’s life that she still fondly refers to them as her “people.” After years of teaching she recognizes that anyone who loves the Word of God and longs to know more is a part of “her people,” too.
Although God’s plan was in motion before she was born, Tracey didn’t always know teaching His Word was her calling. She was raised in a Christian home in Kingsport, Tennessee, the oldest of two sisters. Tracey came to Christ as a child, but as she grew, her faith became one of routine and rules rather than a relationship motivated by love and devotion.
Tracey and her husband, Kevin met in engineering school and moved to Franklin, TN. Tracey eventually quit her job supervising a maintenance crew in order to “supervise” her 3 active children. She also began to meet with her friends for a weekly Bible study. It was her first one and she loved it! Bible study was exciting and intellectually stimulating, but more importantly, she came to know Christ personally and intimately. She found a deeper relationship with Him that was absent of rules, and full of desire to know Jesus and please Him.
Tracey went from participating in Bible studies, to leading them, to eventually spending time in her Bible with The Spirit as her teacher. During this time her teaching gift became clear and God’s plan for her life was confirmed. Tracey humbly teaches all that God reveals to her, without apology and without question. She believes God knows His people long to hear His truth and her call is to simply communicate His message, never her agenda. Tracey would love to share with you His message of love, truth and encouragement in a compelling and captivating way. Let’s connect and schedule Tracey for your event.
Tracey would say her biggest desire is for people to search for God in the Bible. It is there, He will reveal Himself and speak His timely Word just for them. She has developed a Bible Study method for others to feel more comfortable in their Bible. She has also written Bible Studies that help the student find confidence in their own Bible reading. Her method is called the 4C’s Bible Study Method. She has also written a Bible Study Guide for Jeremiah, that incorporates these tools.
Tracey also has a passion for movement and worship that she incorporates into a Christ-centered yoga practice. Her classes invite the student to meditate on the Word of God and worship Him with their whole body. She can be found teaching these unique classes in Franklin.
Tracey and Kevin are nearly empty nesters who have young adult children that pass through often. They love to travel and enjoy summers by the water. Tracey loves coffee at sunrise, a new pair of shoes, and singing Rocky Top for her Tennessee Vols.
